US Mint Uncirculated Sets

The US Mint has been producing Uncirculated Coin Sets, or "Mint Sets" since 1947, with a few interruptions along the way. For most years, these collector favorites include uncirculated examples of all of the year's coins for every denomination issued from each mint facility. From 2005 through 2010, Mint Sets were made with a satin finish, rather than their traditional luster. In 2011, however, the Mint went back to their standard style of production. Mintages have varied through the years and so have the sizes of these sets, but collector interest has always remained strong.
