The US Mint will be issuing Presidential Dollars featuring the images of our nation's leaders in the order in which they served. There will be 4 Presidential Dollars issued each year. Each Presidential Dollar will feature the President's image on the obverse and a striking rendition of the Statue of Liberty on the reverse. The year, mint mark and "E Pluribus Unum" will be inscribed on the edge of the dollar. The composition of the Presidential Dollars will be the same as the Sacagawea Dollars, which will continue to be produced through 2008 and will be followed by Native American Dollars in 2009 and beyond.

Coinland will be producing its own 1 3/4" Presidential Medal each year to highlight the 4 Presidents and the years in which they served. Coinland Presidential Dollar Medals are spectacular high relief coins and are available in bronze and 24K gold-plated versions. Both the 2007 and 2008 Medals are now available.
