In 1982, the US Mint revived collector interest in Commemorative coins with the introduction of a Modern Commemorative Series. Since then, Silver and Gold Commems have been authorized by Congress every year to commemorate an individual, place or historical event. Many of these highly collectible coins have very low mintages and are true "modern rarities." We believe that the Modern Commemorative Series offers an exceptional opportunity for coin collectors to assemble an undervalued high grade collection with beauty and history.
